This is a limited production run of upgraded throttle encoder plates designed for M70 and S70 V12 engines.

The package includes a seal kit and gasket.

Prior to being discontinued, the single throttle was priced at $4,000 USD each. The original encoder plate has several issues: the encoder face wears down, leading to delayed throttle response and throttle lag, while the molded resistors can fail after 30 years of use, resulting in an EML light and a non-functional cylinder bank.

The original encoder plate has undergone redesign at least five times by BMW; we have utilized the specifications from the latest production run to manufacture our new encoder plates. We have sourced the highest quality Japanese-made resistors available, and the encoder surface has been coated and treated to enhance its durability against wear compared to the OEM parts.

The outcome is a significantly improved throttle response, a smoother idle, elimination of choking during cruising, and stable idle at startup. The revving and throttle feel during acceleration are also markedly enhanced.
